Unlike simple chatbots, a generative agent possesses a degree of autonomy, allowing it to set goals, break them down into tasks, interact with external tools, and iterate until the objective is met.

    The operational framework of a generative agent typically involves several core components:

    • Perception: The agent receives input from its environment (e.g., user prompts, API responses, sensor data).
